John Pippin: Preaching Minister

John is a Cookeville, TN native. He is married to Allison (formerly Mangrum, of Dickson, TN). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Bible as well as a Master’s degree in the New Testament from Freed-Hardeman University. He has been in full time ministry for the last 23 years; working with congregations in Southwestern Missouri and Western Kentucky. He has served on the board of directors for church camps as well as Happy Haven Children’s Home. For the last 17 years he has worked with the Baxter congregation and spoken at various youth events and gospel meetings.

Samuel Moore: Youth Minister

Sam has been the youth minister since May of 2024. He is from Andalusia, Alabama and graduated from Faulkner University in 2024 with a degree in Youth and Family Ministry. He is joined by his wife, Sydney, whom he married in 2022. They welcomed their son, Watson, to their family in November of 2024. Sam and Sydney also work as houseparents at Happy Haven Children’s Home in Cookeville.
